Security to be tightened along border during festival



KANCHANPUR: District Police Office (DPO), Kanchanpur has decided to mobilize security personnel equipped sniffer dogs along the Nepal-India border in the district during the festive season.

The security personnel will be deployed along the border area to ensure that no illegal activities will take place, informed DSP Siddha Raj Neupane of DPO, Kanchanpur.

The security personnel equipped sniffer dogs will be deployed at Gaddachauki in the west and Gauriphanta in the south-east during the Dashain and Tihar festivals.
