Provincial, local governments impacted by HoR dissolution: NC leader Singh

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said that the impact of dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) has been seen in provincial and local governments.

Addressing the six municipal assembly of Gokarneshwor Municipality on Friday, Singh said that the incumbent government having around two-thirds majority dissolved the House of Representatives due to internal dispute of the party.

“Its effect has been seen in all provincial and local governments,” he said adding that the Prime Minister dissolved HoR using the power which he didn’t have.

Singh further said that the government failed to carry out effective measures to control coronavirus.
