KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Kamal Thapa, has presented a political report in today’s meeting of the party central working committee.

The political report is related to promoting investment and creating employment for the country’s economic prosperity.

The CWC meeting of the RPP is taking place in Kathmandu from today.

The report presented by Chair Thapa mentioned that the nation could be developed by controlling corruption, reducing the trade deficit and increasing the quality of education and health.

Stating that activities for the development of the nation have been hampered due to institutional and policy-level corruption, the report reads that issues related to proselytization, unemployment, the involvement of external force are the existing challenges in the country.

The national identity of the country would be collapsed, social and cultural harmony and unity would be spoiled and the country would be pushed into a religious war if proselytization, taking place in the country in a wrong way, could not be stopped on time, reads the political report.

A total of 163 central members of the party across the country have been participating in the meeting. Central committee member Debendra Pradhan said that discussion would be held on the report and amendments would be made on the report based on the suggestions of the central committee members.

A report of Secretariat, as well as financial report, would be presented in the meeting that will run till February 1.
