Youth who posed as cop lands in police net



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man who duped people claiming himself as a Sub Inspector of Nepal Police.

A team of police deployed from the Metropolitan Crime Division arrested Raju Karki, 26, of Manthali Municipality-2, Tekpur in Ramechhap.

According to police, Karki had swindled many people claiming himself as cop deployed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Police seized Rs 7,500, a motorcycle and a smartphone from his possession.

Karki was earlier arrested on a dupery case and released on a bail bond of Rs 68,000.
