Tipper-hit kills two pedestrians in capital



KATHMANDU: Two pedestrians have died after being hit by a tipper at Gurjudhara in Chandragiri municipality-12 of the Kathmandu Valley.

The deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Abhaya Lama of Dhading, and Subhash Gamal, 25, of Chitwan, currently staying at Gurjudhara.

The accident took place while the tipper, Ba 4 Kha 2577, hit them while they were crossing the road at 10 pm yesterday.

Both of them died on the spot. Police said they are investigating the case after taking the tipper and its driver under control.
