Dharan records 42 additional COVID-19 cases



SUNSARI: As many as 42 additional people have been infected with COVID-19 in Dharan Sub Metropolitan City of Sunsari district.

They were confirmed to have been infected with the virus during tests at the laboratory of BP Koirala of Health Sciences on Friday evening.

The infected include some staffers of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City and some health officials, according to Umesh Mehata, the chief of Health Division of the Sub-metropolis.

With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths has reached 2,715 in Dharan.
