KATHMANDU: The government has decided to assign the Nepal Army (NA) for the security of isolation centres.

The meeting of Council of Minister held on Sunday decided that the local levels will operate the isolation centres and the provincial governments will manage the necessary fund, said government Spokesperson Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada.

The meeting also decided that the Ministry of Health and Population will provide the money if the provinces fail to manage it.
