Call to specify roles of management committee

KATHMANDU: The Community School Management Committees has asked the government to clarify the roles of management committee in the operational procedure of the schools that remained closed due to COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.

Chairman of the Federation, Krishna Thapa asked active roles of local governments and school management committees to resume school operations.

He said this while presenting the recommendations to the Education Development and Human Resource Centre under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

It has also drawn attention over sheer ignorance in the management of procedure for health security of students, teachers and employees.

The Ministry of Education is making preparation to open enrollment of students from coming August 20 and run classes from August 31.
