25-year-old Hetauda woman recovers from COVID-19

CHITWAN: A 25-year-old pregnant woman from Chowki Tol of Hetauda Sub Municipality-1 has recovered from COVID-19 discharged from the Chitwan-based Bharatpur Hospital.

She recovered and discharged on the third day after she was diagnosed to be infected.

She wondered how she was infected with the coronavirus.

“At first, I was scared to know the positive report,” she said, “No one should panic,” thanking the hospital for its services.

Bharatpur Hospital Physician Dr. Pramod Poudel said that she may have recovered faster as the viral load in her body was less and her immunity was better.

She is five months pregnant and her health condition is normal.

She was discharged after the RT PCR test conducted twice at the Bharatpur COVID-19 laboratory on Saturday showed the negative.

The woman, who had gone to Hetauda from Chitwan on June 26, was confirmed to have coronavirus infection on June 30.
