Coronavirus kills 346, infects 15, 759 in Pakistan



KATHMANDU:  The number of death toll from Coronavirus has climbed to 346 in Pakistan after three more died in the last 24 hours.

With 234 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 15, 759, according to Worldometer.

Currently, 11, 361 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 111 are critical. Meanwhile, 4, 052 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 228,195 and infecting 3,219,246 people as of Thursday morning.

Pakistan is the second-worst -hit with 346 deaths followed by Bangladesh (163), Afghanistan (64), and Sri Lanka (7) while India tops the list with 1,079 deaths in the SAARC region.
