Medical supplies reach Dhangadhi

DHANGADHI: Medical equipment to be used for fighting against the deadly COVID-19 outbreak arrived here from Kathmandu today.  The medical appliances were transported in the Nepal Army aircraft.

According to Social Development Minister at the State Krishna Raj Subedi, the equipment includes 1,000 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE), 960 sets of face masks, 100 sets thermometer, some dozens of gloves and testing kits.

According to him, the equipment would be delivered in the designated health facilities soon.

Meanwhile, the sub-metropolitan city has launched the COVID-19 information portal.
