SIRAHA: Buildings damaged during the recent unrest in Golbazar continue to bear the scars of violence, with several homes, shops and commercial buildings left partially destroyed.
Tensions that spread across several districts of Madhesh Province following the Sunsari incident reached Golbazar in Siraha on July 30, where clashes escalated into vandalism and arson.
The violence caused significant damage to private homes, retail shops and shopping complexes, leaving many structures damaged and disrupting normal life in the area.
Photographs taken after the incident show burnt and vandalised buildings, highlighting the extent of the destruction caused during the unrest.
