168 foreign country returnees quarantined in Nuwakot



NUWAKOT: One hundred sixty eight Nepalis returning from foreign countries have been kept under quarantine in Nuwakot district, officials said.

Of them, 164 have been self-quarantined and five at different quarantine facilities set up by Bidur Municipality and Tadi Rural Municipality, said Chief District Officer Drona Pokharel.

The quarantined Nepalis returned home from India, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. The district has readied 226-bed quarantine facilities and 14-bed isolation wards, said assistant CDO Badri Nath Gaire.

Likewise, three ambulances have been readied.
