Two nabbed with rhino horn in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons with a horn of one-horned rhinoceros.

The arrested are Lawa Chhetri, 46, of Golfutar in Kathmandu and Dinesh Thapa, 22, of Budiganga Municipality-6 in Bajura.

A police team deployed from Metropolitan Crime Division, Teku arrested them while they were trying to sell the horn at Rs 2.5 million.

The duo has been handed over to District Forest Office, Kathmandu for further action.
