Chitwan sees 11 COVID-19 deaths in 45 days

CHITWAN: The district has Chitwan has witnessed 11 coronavirus deaths in last two and a half months.

According to the District Health Office Chitwan, 9 males and 2 females have died of coronavirus pandemic during this period.

Among the cases, there are 5 including a 108-year-old woman from Chitwan, and one each from Nawalpur, Gorkha and Kailali.

Three persons from Makawanpur also died of coronavirus while undergoing treatment in Chitwan.

In the meantime, the district has reported 527 cases of coronavirus till date.

With the increasing number of cases, the people are panicked as the cases have transmitted at the community level.
