Three COVID-19 patients die at Patan Hospital



KATHMANDU: Three people have died while undergoing treatment for the coronavirus at Patan Hospital.

The deceased have been identified as a 29-year-old man from Lalitpur, a 57-year-old man from Bhairahawa and a 62-year-old woman from Jaleshwor, said Director at the hospital Ravi Shakya.

He said that a man from Bhairahawa died at 7 pm on Saturday and youth from Lalitpur at 10 pm yesterday. A woman from Jaleshwor succumbed to the pandemic at 2 pm on Saturday.

According to the hospital, a young man from Patan and a man from Bhairahawa had kidney-related ailments.

Director Shakya said that the woman from Jaleshwor had blood-related issues.

He said that the bodies of the man and the woman had been managed and the Nepal Army team had been informed to manage the body of a youth from Patan.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man from Rautahat died in Birgunj on Sunday.
