NEPALGUNJ: The Nepalgunj jail that had turned a sight to see after the news of coronavirus pandemic positive reports of the jailbirds and the police on duty 14 days before took a sigh of relief after the recovery of all jailbirds and the police found COVID-19 positive before.

According to Naresh Shreshtha, the coronavirus focal person of District Health Office Banke, informed that 5 including the jailbirds and police who had tested coronavirus positive before have been discharged after recovery on Thursday.

The prison management was shocked to mark the COVID-19 positive cases among the police and the jailbirds in the jail sheltering 777 convicts.
