One dies in Dailekh quarantine, PCR report yet to come



SIMKOT: A 35-year-old man who had recently returned from India has died in quarantine in Dailekh.

The youth who had taken the tea and biscuit in the breakfast is said to have died on Saturday morning suddenly.

Although his swab was collected 3 days before and sent to Karnali Health Science Academy, Jumla for the COVID-19 test, the report has not come yet.

Mayor Ghana Shyam Bhandari confirmed that the 35-year-old youth of Dullu Municipality Ward no 11 had no symptoms of coronavirus earlier died on Saturday morning.

79 people including the youth had returned from Gujarat India 10 days before.

Although the swab of the youth was collected 3 days before, as there were no kits in Surkhet, it was sent to Jumla for the test.

Mayor Bhandari informed that the dead body would be kept in the Nepal Electrical Authority’s building used as quarantine in Dullu-7 till the test report comes.
