Nepal Army launches COVID-19 response app

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) has launched a mobile app as a measure to combat COVID-19 spread.

The national army said that the app named ‘COVID-19 Response App Nepal’ was readied to provide emergency service by collecting information from the general public.

The NA Directorate of Public Relations said that one can send information through the app if his/her family members, neighbors and friends show symptoms similar to COVID-19.

NA will use the information obtained from the app for necessary management and analysis.

Currently, the app is only available for Android users and can be downloaded from the official website of the Nepal Army.
