Sajha Party for high-level all-party mechanism to combat COVID-19



KATHMANDU: In an effort to combat the present and future crises created by the novel coronavirus, Sajha Party has asked the government to constitute a high-level all-party political mechanism and high-level experts’ team.

Party Coordinator Rabindra Mishra and spokesperson Dr Surya Raj Acharya handed over a memo to Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel with recommendations addressed to Prime Minister KP Oli.

The party said that solidarity of the political level to reflect the national consensus is needed at this hour for the control and treatment of the coronavirus.

The party has also suggested the government to form a high-level political mechanism under the leadership of the Prime Minister comprising the leaders of major political parties.
