6 medics at Butwal’s heart hospital test positive for COVID-19

TILOTTAMA: Six more health workers working in Gautam Buddha Community Heart Hospital in Butwal, Rupandehi, have been tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

Earlier, three medics working at the hospital had been confirmed to have infected from the coronavirus. The number of infected health workers in the hospital has reached nine.

Ejaz Alam, Chairman of the hospital, said that all the services provided by the hospital have been suspended till further notice as the health workers have to be tested positive for the coronavirus.

“We will discharge the patients being treated at the hospital and perform PCR tests on all the staff,” he said.
