Father, son killed in accident



KATHMANDU: A father and son died in a road accident that took place at Kalauni in ward no. 8 of Saina Maina municipality this afternoon.

Tek Bahadur Pariyar, 50, and his 30-year-old-son Santosh of Bankatta in ward no. 1 of the municipality died in the incident.

Severely injured in the accident, both died during treatment at the Lumbini state hospital, said DSP Dilli Narayan Pandey.

Santosh was a police constable, deputed at the District Police Office in Kapilvastu.

The accident took place as the motorcycle (Lu. 52 Pa. 6229) that the father-son duo was traveling on towards the west from Butwal hit a car (Lu. 2 Cha. 8529) coming from the opposite direction, police said.a
