Deuba expresses grief over lyricist Thapa’s demise



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the demise of noted lyricist Ranta Shumsher Thapa.

Issuing a condolence note today, NC President Deuba wished eternal peace to the departed soul and extended condolences to the bereaved family members.

“I’m saddened over the demise of popular lyricist in the field of Nepali music, Thapa. It is an irreparable loss to the country. Thapa had a tremendous contribution to the country with his all-time music creation,” President Deuba said.
