KATHMANDU: The government is presenting its revenue and expenditure estimates (budget) for the fiscal year 2020/21 at the joint meeting of the both the houses of the Federal Parliament at 4:00 pm today.

The Constitution of Nepal (2015) provides that the budget of the government be presented by Jestha 15 of the lunar calendar every year.

At the meeting today of the House of Representatives, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota urged all members to be present at the house before 3:45 pm.

The House of Representatives will meet again at 6:00 pm following the joint meeting of the parliament.
