KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 1, 163 people including 338 women for violating lockdown from various places in the capital this morning.

Police arrested them from 6 am to 10 am today from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

Meanwhile, police also took two-wheelers and four-wheelers under control used during the lockdown.

The government has enforced lockdown since March 19 to stem Coronavirus spread and been taking action against the lockdown violators.

Police have been taking lockdown violators under control and release them only after imparting them a three hours’ training on Coronavirus.
