RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane arrives in Chitwan for election campaign



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has arrived in Chitwan to participate in election-focused programs ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

Lamichhane reached Chitwan on Thursday, where he was welcomed at Bharatpur Airport by RSP leaders, party cadres and well-wishers.

A candidate from Chitwan constituency No. 2, Lamichhane is scheduled to hold interactions with voters and take part in door-to-door campaigning during his visit.

RSP has fielded candidates in all three parliamentary constituencies of Chitwan under the first-past-the-post system. Hari Dhakal has been nominated from Chitwan-1, Lamichhane from Chitwan-2, and Sabita Gautam from Chitwan-3.

The party has intensified its campaign activities in the district as the election date approaches.
