First phase of survey on petroleum products over



KATHMANDU: Seismic survey carried out in 10 different places in the course of exploring petroleum products in Dailekh district has been completed.

The survey was carried out in places including Shreesthan, Nabhisthan, Paduka in Dailekh district.

According to Geologist of the Department of Mines and Geology Dr Ganeshnath Tripathi, the seismic survey conducted in 10 places for the discovery of petroleum products in the district is over.

Even though it was planned to be completed by the end of January, it was delayed due to bad weather.

A Chinese team involved at the site of the district has returned.
