TAC moves to top of table with victory over JYC

KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) defeats Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) on ongoing ninth round of Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League at ANFA stadium on Tuesday.

The game started with an early shot attempt from TAC’s Sesehang Angdenbe which was blocked by the JYC’s defense.

The game was balanced on the first half with both teams creating the opportunities for the goal but both the team could not convert the chances into goals.

JYC was very unlucky in the 31st minute of the game. JYC created a beautiful opportunity to take the lead on the match. JYC’s Dady Junior Wamba touched the ball which was on target and the keeper was already beaten but he was declared as offside by the referee.

Had he not touched the ball, JYC would have taken the lead in the match at the 31st minute. JYC’s Dady Junior Wamba had received a yellow card in the 42nd minute for his bad foul. In the second half, JYC had early opportunities to score the goal.

JYC’s Rub Bahadur Lama’s marvelous shot was saved beautifully by TAC keeper Bikesh Kuthu with a dive to the right.

Similarly, in the 72nd minute of the match, JYC’s Suraj Jeu Thakuri tried a shot that was again blocked by the keeper.

Bharat Khawas TAC’s captain scored the first and the only goal of the match in the 75th minute form right-wing which shocked everyone. JYC could not make a comeback in the game after that goal.
