Nine SSPs recommended for promotion to DIGs



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the promotion of nine Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) of Nepal Police to Deputy Inspector Generals of Police (DIGs).

The promotion recommendation committee chaired by Home Secretary Maheshwar Neupane recommended the promotion.

SSPs Ganesh Bahadur Ayer, Purushottam Kandel, Rajesh Kumar Lal Karna, Dev Bahadur Bohora, Divesh Lohani, Ram Kripal Sah, Umesh Ranjitkar, Prakash Adhikari and Mukundaraj Acharya have been recommended for promotion, sources said.
