Prohibitory order in Birgunj extended by one week

PARSA: The prohibitory order enforced in Birgunj Metropolis to stem the spread of the coronavirus has been extended by one week.

The order will be clamped until midnight on September 3.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the District Crisis Management Center chaired by Parsa Chief District Officer Asman Tamang on Friday.

The order has been relaxed in other places of the districts, however, public transport will not be allowed to operate.

Chief District Officer Tamang said that the meeting has decided not to allow gathering of more than four people and close educational institutions, salons, beauty parlors, gyms and libraries until further notice.
