POKHARA: Foreign tourists currently in Nepal have urged the Government of Nepal to extend the term of their visa dates.

They appealed for the same stating that they failed to complete their visits and tours due to ongoing lockdown.

They have complained that they even cannot return to their home countries due to the threat of COVID-19 recently.  Most of the foreign tourists recently visiting Pokhara sites have urged for the same.

They came with this appeal after the government urged them to return home in 15 days of resumption of international flights.

The government has decided to resume international flights from August 17.

A UK national Linda, who is recently in Pokhara said that they want to spend some days in Nepal as they could face the risk of coronavirus in transit and airports while returning home.

Similarly, Australian national Francis seconded Linda and opined that they want to stay for more days here adding that about 1,500 Australian tourists in Nepal have the same expectations. RSS
