NA purchasing vehicles worth Rs 180 million



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) has initiated procedure to purchase vehicles worth Rs 180 million for its use.

According to NA, it is purchasing operational vehicles such as 10 pick-up trucks, meant for plains and hills.

The NA is also purchasing one category ‘C’ ambulance and a one category ‘A’ ambulance (with a ventilator) to be used during the escorting for VVIPs, including President and the Prime Minister.

Likewise, the NA is also purchasing a mountain jeep, four tractors, five motorbikes, five hard-top jeeps, and 30 bicycles.

Two forklifts and one workshop vans will also be purchased to be used at the Army Headquarters.
