Siraha SP’s security guard, driver test COVID-19 positive

KATHMANDU: The security guard and a driver of SP Uma Shankar Chaturvedi, the Chief of District Police Office Siraha have tested coronavirus positive.

According to SP Chaturvedi, his security guard, the Head Constable, and the driver have tested positive on Wednesday.

“The security guard and the driver have tested positive, my report has not come yet,” he said while asked for confirmation.

However, as precautionary move, the SP is in home quarantine.

According to the police sources, the swab of 16 people who had been exposed to the coronavirus positive people has collected and sent for PCR test.

In the meantime, the Chief District Officer, Assistant Chief District Officer and SP have self quarantined themselves as precaution against the pandemic.

The police informed that they are working on contact tracing of the people who came into contact with SP Chaturvedi’s security guard is going on.
