Parsa forms quick response team against corona

BIRGUNJ: A meeting held under the chairperson-ship of Bishnu Kumar Karki, the Chief District Officer of Parsa  decided to form a ‘Quick Response Team’ to fight against all spreading coronavirus.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Lalit Kumar Basnet, the quick response team will be led by the medical officer of Narayani Hospital Birgunj and will have members from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force Nepal, Health Officer of Birgunj Metropolitan City and Nursing officer of Narayani Hospital.

“The quick response team shall work on the strategy for prevention and preparedness,” Basnet said, “it also will work as action force in case the corona victims or the corona suspects seek help for better healthcare system.”

The meeting also decided to request the private hospitals in Parsa to allocate 10% bed for corona suspect patients.

The meeting fixed the time for the transportation and sale of essential goods of daily use.
