Three DIGs recommended for promotion to AIG

KATHMANDU: Three Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Nepal Police have been recommended for their promotion as Additional Inspector Generals (AIGs).

A meeting of Promotion Recommendation Committee on Thursday decided to that effect.

Those recommended for promotion are DIGs Tarnini Dutta Lamshal, Shailesh Thapa Chhetri and Hari Pal.

Nepal Police will get its new IGP from the recommended names after current IGP Thakur Prasad Gyawali retires after five months.
