No new coronavirus case confirmed in Nepal, claims Health Ministry



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has claimed that no new coronavirus case has been confirmed in Nepal.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the Ministry said that no new patient has been verified to be infected with the virus till Monday.

According to sources, it has been verified that one out of two patients undergoing treatment at the Teku-based Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital was infected with the deadly virus.

The ministry, however, refuted it.

Earlier a youth returning from China was found to be suffering from coronavirus infection.
