Biplav cadres, police engage in firing in Sankhuwasabha



SANKHUWASABHA: A gunfight between Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ cadres and police took place at Chainpur 4 of Sankhuwasabha district.

Police said no untoward incident has occurred during the firing.

Chief District Officer Jivan Prasad Acharya said a clash took place between Biplav cadres and police at around 3 pm.

According to him, police retaliated after the Biplav cadres attacked a police patrol team.
