Two killed in Gulmi road accident



GULMI: Two people have died after being hit by a truck at Masinekhola in Resunga municipality-13. The accident took place this morning.

The deceased have been identified as 23-year-old Balkrishna Bhutel and 24-year-old Top Bahadur Rajali of Resunga municipality-13, according to police.

The truck (Na. 5 Kha. 3204) was heading towards Tamghas of Gulmi from Butwal when it ran over the two youth.

Both died on the spot, Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Gulmi Prabin Lal Shrestha said.

The truck driver Gopal Tandon has been taken into police custody for necessary action. An investigation into the incident has also been initiated.
