KATHMANDU: A corruption case has been filed against Ishwori Prasad Jaiswal, head of the Nepal Electricity Authority’s Hetauda-Bharatpur-Bardhaghat 220 KV transmission line project office.

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a case against Jaiswal at Special Court on Friday seeking Rs one million fine and punishment as per existing laws.

He was arrested on the charge of soliciting bribe from the service recipients while paying for the transportation of the trees within the areas of the transmission line.
