Govt investing on IT-based infrastructures: Minister Nembang



PHIDIM: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Basanta Nembang has said that the government was prioritizing to develop infrastructures for technical and vocational institutions.

Inaugurating an ICT lab at Phidim-based Phidim Secondary School in the district today, Minister Nembang argued that only modern technology could lead the nation towards prosperity.

He said that highly-skilled youth could contribute to the nation from anywhere — either staying at home or abroad.

On the occasion, Minister Nembang said that the government was prioritizing to develop 100 model schools after making them IT-friendly with state-of-the-art infrastructures.

“The government is making huge investments in education and IT sectors of late,” Nembang said.
