Prohibitory order in Dhankuta extended by one week

DHANKUTA: The District Administration Office, Dhankuta has extended the prohibitory order clamped in the district to prevent and control the coronavirus by one week.

Chief District Officer Keshav Prasad Bimali stated that the meeting of the District Crisis Management Center (DCMC) has decided to that effect.

The prohibitory order has been extended until midnight on September 3 in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 and the Local Administration Act 2028.

Dhankuta has been under continuous prohibitory order for the past two weeks.

The meeting has decided to open the shop for the sale of daily essentials from 7 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Any kind of gathering has been completely banned.
