Septuagenarian succumbs to coronavirus in Banke



NEPALGUNJ: A 70-year-old coronavirus patient has died in Banke.

According to Naresh Babu Shrestha, corona focal person at District Health Office Banke, a 70-year-old female of Nepalgunj-7 has died of coronavirus pandemic on Thursday.

He informed that the woman was admitted to the Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital after she complained of respiratory complications on August 19.

Her swab, which was collected and sent for coronavirus test on the same day, showed positive result on August 19.

The woman died at 10.30 am on Thursday.

The hospital claimed that she had developed pneumonia symptoms of late.
