High fever claims three in Kanchanpur



KANCHANPUR: Three people have died of high fever in Mahakali municipality in Kanchanpur district.

The deceased have been identified as Puja Bogati, 12, Gambhir Bhandari, 65, and Prem Bahadur Chand, 21, according to District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

Bogati who was referred to Dhangadhi after his treatment was possible at Dodhara Health Center breathed his last in the course of treatment, said Jaya Bahadur Mahara, chief of Health Division of Mahakali municipality.

Similarly, Bhandari who was suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, and fever died in the course of treatment while Prem passed away while being rushed to a health center.

The number of patients suffering from high fever has gone up since the last 10 days, said Mahara.
