3 including an expectant mother die from COVID-19 in Parsa



BIRGUNJ: Three people have died of coronavirus in Birgunj in the past 14 hours. The deceased are among those infected with the coronavirus virus.

The three deaths were recorded between 6:22 pm yesterday to 8 am today in Birgunj, said Dr Atulesh Chaurasiya of Narayani Hospital.

A 72-year-old man of Dhobini rural municipality-3 had died at 6:22 pm yesterday.

Similarly, a 23-year-old expectant mother of Hardiya-4, Bara died at 6 am today. She had been infected with the coronavirus.

Two died at Narayani Hospital while the other one breathed his last at Birgunj Health Care Hospital at 8 am today.

The deceased is 62-year-old man of Birgunj Metropolitan City-14, said Dr Chaurasiya.

The infected of Dhobini, Parsa had been admitted to Narayani Hospital on August 24. His report had come out positive on August 25.

He had been suffering from fever, pneumonia and respiratory complications.

The expectant mother of Bara was also suffering from pneumonia and respiratory problems, said Dr Udayanarayan Singh.

Similarly, the 62-year-old who died at Birgunj Health Care Hospital was suffering from kidney-related ailments.

He had been undergoing dialysis since the past one year.  He had been admitted to Healthcare COVID Hospital on August 14.

With this, the number of deaths from coronavirus has reached 34 in Parsa.
