Coronavirus cases cross 3.3 mln in India with 75,995 new cases

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 3,300,000 in India.

With 75,995 new infection cases in the last 24 hours, the number of cases has reached 3,307,749 until the filing of this news on Thursday morning.

This is the highest number of coronavirus cases in Asia and the third in the world.

Out of those infected, 2,523,443 have recovered from the virus while 695,400 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers in the country.

Similarly, more than 60,000 people have died from coronavirus in India.

With 1,017 deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 60,629 as of Thursday morning, according to Worldometer.
