Bara reports 14 COVID-19 deaths so far



BARA: Four people infected with coronavirus died in Bara district in the last 24 hours.

With this, the number of people losing lives to the coronavirus has reached 14 in Bara district.

The four infected ones were receiving treatment at the Gandak-based COVID-19 Hospital, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gautam Mishra.

Two persons died Tuesday night and two others on Wednesday.

Those losing lives are Bishwanath Prasad Jaiswal, 70, from Kalaiya Sub-Metropolis-1; Ashok Prasad Yadav, 42, from Chhatwa of Bishrampur Rural Municipality-1; Dhuplal Yadav, 72, from Subarna Rural Municipality-5; and Gana Prasad Shah, 49, from Mahagadhimai Municipality-4.

They were tested for COVID-19 after they experienced health problems.

They however failed the battle against virus during the treatment.

With the latest fatality, number of people dying of coronavirus has reached 14.
