Two Bangladeshi nationals arrested with banned prescription drugs in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Two Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested with pharmaceutical drugs from a road in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, Bahati Pokhari.

The arrested are Mohammad Babul Islam, 26, and Abdullah Sojal of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Police recovered 300 ampoules of Diazepam, 300 ampoules of Buprenorphine, 300 ampoules of Phenergan and Rs 20,000 from them.

A police team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor, found them with the drugs while they were resting on a motorcycle, Pradesh 3-02001 Pa 5229.
