Wife strikes her hubby to death in Banke  



NEPALGUNJ: A wife has struck her husband to death with an axe in Khajura rural municipality in Banke district.

According to District Police Office, Banke,  Michhiya Tharu, 65, killed her 75-year-old Lakshiram Tharu over miner domestic dispute.

A preliminary investigation of the police showed Michhiya Tharu struck her husband by his hand, leg and head with an axe in a fit of rage, said DSP Subas Khadka.

Lakshiram died on the spot.

His dead body has been brought to District Hospital, Banke for postmortem.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking assailant under control.
