Himani Trust distributes health materials and safety kits

KATHMANDU: Himani Trust has distributed health materials and safety kits to the health workers, police, journalists and people’s representatives leading the battle against coronavirus pandemic.

Himani Trust has encouraged the frontline leaders combating against COVID-19 by providing various health materials and safety kits, including PPE, masks, gloves and sanitizers to them.

The materials are meant for health workers, police, media persons and people’s representative involved in countering the battle against coronavirus pandemic.

Himani Trust has provided medical equipment to Kathmandu Medical College, Kathmandu.

Prerana Rajya Laxmi Devi Singh, the Vice President of the Trust, handed those health materials to Professor Dr. Chanda Karki, the Campus Chief of Kathmandu Medical College.

In the program the media persons of 20 different media houses were also distributed the safety kits required  while executing their duties during such crisis.

Speaking at the health materials hand over program organized at Baluwatar, Campus Chief Dr. Karki appreciated the role played by the royal family. She recalled the role of monarchy in such situations before.

Shitasma Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah, the Treasure of the Trust shared that the Trust had always been with the people in such crisis and assured the continuation of such help including the ones to empower poor and marginalized in the days ahead as well.
