School unlikely to open soon: Education Minister

POKHARA: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokhrel has said it was unlikely that schools could resume teaching activities like the past very soon.

He, therefore, suggested alternative teaching methods to be adopted to continue learning activities, considering the impact of novel coronavirus.

Speaking at a program organized by Nepal Teachers Association, Kaski chapter in Pokhara, Minister Pokhrel said it was unlikely that schools could resume teaching and learning activities soon.

The minister also stated that the government high-level committee will recommend about how and when the annual examinations for Grade 10, 11 and 12 could be conducted.
